【Prosthetic Hands】01 Brief Introduction: 2 years of development
Since this is my first article, I would like to introduce myself a bit more.
As mentioned in the front page, I major in Mechanical Engineering, a relatively overarching profession. For most of my fellow ME students, anxiety and frustration were a mutual topic, for identifying a future career within so many choices was tough challenge.
Fortunately, it did not take too much time for me to determine my future research field -- Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology. Of course, the field is still a huge topic for an undergraduate student, so I narrowed down to the topic I adore the most -- Prosthetic Hand.
Since my junior year, I have been conducting research regarding prosthetic hands, with an ultimate purpose to create a functional, reliable prosthesis. Instructed by Prof. Han-Pang Huang, I managed to create three versions of hands, each with improvement to the former one.
