【Prosthetic Hands】19 Third Generation - Demo Videos

As I mentioned in the previous article, I design a handler on the prosthetic hand for able-body users to test its performance. Users can hold the device like this:

The hand can accomplish various grasping tasks and lift daily objects such as water bottles, balls, beverage packs, mugs, small cuboid objects, bowls, bags, and so on. In addition, the active DoF on the index fingers allows users to type on keyboard more easily.

In fact, the finger motions can be customized according to the user's needs, as long as the motions do not exceed the hand's DoF limits.

To make sure the proposed Practical Strategy can really improve user experience, I conducted several experiments. I will introduce these experiments in the next article, and it will also be the last article of the series, hope you enjoy it!
